Deep Tissue Massage

50 minutes: $65
80 minutes: $90

Deep Tissue Massage is a form of bodywork that aims to relieve tension in the deeper layers of tissue in the body. Deep Tissue Massage is a highly effective method for releasing chronic stress areas due to misalignment, repetitive motions, and past lingering injuries. Due to the nature of the deep tissue work, open communication during the session is crucial to make sure the pressure remains therapeutic. Keep in mind that soreness can be felt after the treatment, and that plenty of water should be ingested to aid with the flushing and removal of toxins that will have been released from the deep tissue during the session. Therapist may reach out to client two days after treatment to check in on level of soreness and offer more information on how to alleviate the soreness.

Reflexology

50 minutes: $60

Reflexology is a type of bodywork that focuses on applying pressure to the specific nerve zones in your feet or hands. Unlike other foot or hand massages that intend to mostly relieve tension in the feet or hands themselves, reflexology is a far more in-depth science that aims to harmonize your entire body. According to reflexology, every part of the human body is mapped into your feet and hands. Reflexology treatments have been found to be highly effective for conditions such as allergies, headaches, and depression. When booking this type of modality, let therapist know if you would like the full 50 minutes on feet or the full 50 minutes on hands. There is also the option of splitting the 50 minutes in half for 25 minutes on feet and 25 minutes on hands.

Shiatsu

60 minutes: $70

Shiatsu is a Japanese form of massage therapy. The word Shiatsu comes from two Japanese words - “shi” (finger) and “atsu” (pressure). In addition to the direct stimulation of pressure points along the energy pathways of your body, gentle stretching techniques are applied over a wider area of the body to integrate the point work and encourage the flow of Chi (energy) throughout the body. Shiatsu is a meditative healing art that honors the body, mind, and spirit.

Myofascial Release

80 minutes: $75

Myofascial release is a form of soft tissue therapy intended to eliminate pain, increase range of motion, and rebalance the entire body. It does this by using massage techniques to stretch the fascia and release the bonds that exist between the fascia, muscles and bones. Fascia is the connective tissue that connects and covers all muscles, organs, and skeletal structures of the body. Direct myofascial release is sometimes known as deep tissue work. Indirect release applies light pressure and gently stretches the fascia; this allows for increased blood circulation and relief from pain. With this modality, about 25 minutes of the session will be used to perform an assessment of the client before the bodywork and then to perform a reassessment of the client after the bodywork. In the assessment, the therapist will guide the client through a series of ranges of motions to assess what muscles or region of the body requires the focused work.

Thai Massage

50 minutes: $60

Thai massage is more energizing and rigorous than most other forms of massage therapy. It's also called Thai Yoga massage, because the therapist uses their hands, knees, legs, and feet to move you into a series of yoga-like postures and stretches. Some clients say that Thai massage is like doing yoga but without having to do any of the work of moving through the poses. No oil or lotions are applied, so client stays fully dressed during the session. Please wear clothes that you feel comfortable being stretched in. This modality is performed on a mat on the ground. For clients who would prefer table, please specify with therapist when booking the session. Thai massage can help you release stress and relieve pain, and help your body move with greater ease.
